My son has struggled with this all of his life. Encopresis is chronic constipation. He is now 17 and still has to wear pull ups much of the time. He also has depression and is struggling at school.

I need to help him more than I have but I'm not sure what direction to go.

He's had this all of his life. I want to see him live a "normal" happy healthy life.

I'm waiting for a call from a therapist he saw so he can go back, although he won't be happy about it. Also has another dr. appt on Mon. to discuss this further.

When he says "I hate my life" it makes me hate mine even more.

Any suggestions would be very helpful.
