Constant Esophagus Pain

I have Lupus and have constant esophagus pain. They have diagnosed it as visceral hyperalgesia and spasms of the esophagus. Just wondering if anyone out there with Lupus or another autoimmune disorder that has issues like this. I also have difficulties swallowing with certain foods, nausea and it feels like a porcupine is living in my esophagus 24/7. I take narcotics for the pain, but was hoping there was something else to help. The doctors have tried multiple medications with no luck in controlling the pain. :( I'm now trying a new drug in hopes that it will help. Just looking to see if anyone else has this problem.
