I know it will be difficult to diagnose without my specific diet, but I will try to describe my question as clearly as I am able. As a 24-year-old vegetarian who drinks more than 8 glasses of water a day am I at an increased risk of suffering from colon cancer if I only have 5-6 bowel movements a week? I do not believe there to be a significant family history of the disease in my family tree and I would also like to know the prevalence of such a terrible disease if possible.

  • I wouldnt worry about it... 5-6 bowel movements a week is not what I would call constipated... Maybe you dont eat much, who knows, everyone is different. The fact that youre a vegitarian lowers the risk just from having so much anti oxidants, and plus not eating meats which have suspectable substances in it that are ******n the bowels..
