  • Hi I know the problem you are having. I have not gone on my own in almost a year now, but I have Muscular Distrophy that messes with me. You can use a warm water enima. I know dont sound great, but it will clean you out and you will start going. It is very serious to wait too long. Just try it.

  • I get constipated, I think the longest I have been would be 5 days, I also took laxatives most of them helped ...some did not. Did you try Castor Oil? Its gross but it works. I have taken laxatives for quite awhile. which isint good, but my doctor put my on Zelnorm, and I'm not sure if I'm liking that to much either. the 2 things that worked for me were, ex-laxand castor oil.You should go to a doctor, they can help.let me know what happens.

  • SEE your DR immediately!!! It could be life-threatening! If your bowel ruptures you may have only minutes to hours to get help!

  • hi i have the opposite problem, i get diarrahea intermittently with lower left sided abdominal pain. i have had this for about 5 years now. i used to pass mucus but over time i am now passing blood along with the mucus and whether or not the stools are loose there is always the presence of blood. I have lost a lot of weight when an attack comes on and feel really drained. I have had 2 colonoscopy (one recent) they took biopsies but said otherwise it was normal and they did not find anything wrong. Has anyone had anything similar? im really worried as i lose my appetite, lose weight and feel awful but they cannot seem to find anything wrong.
