I wish someone can help me, I usually have abddominal cramps after passing constipated like stools and later on I will pass soft stools about 2 times in on the same day. This will continue for about 2 days or more presenting with mucous when I pass stools and burning sensation in the abdomen. I drink alcohol occassionally, non smoker, sometimes eat moderate spicy food and worry a lot about my health. I consulted my GP who prescribed me Mebeverine hydrochloride tablets 132mg suggesting IBS. I have been having the problem for a 1 year and some months

  • Hi, this is my first time on here. I was very interested to see what you wrote. I have been in the hospital several times because my bowles quit working. They run so many test on me. Part of it was the meds I take. I also have muscular distrophy. They tried me on so many meds for this and none worked for me. For a normal person the only med. I know that workes is Miralax powder. They say my muscular distrophy is shutting mine down and it has also messed with my bladder. I have had many surgeries on hips. My bones are detereating.I know how hard it is dealing with the bowel problem. Heart burn for me goes along wiyh it. My bowels have not worked on there own in over a year. It bites. I have to use a bag with warm water and castile soap.I have to do that every other day.Now you can also just use warm water and it will clean you out. That does work. Not the most comfortable thing, but you do get relief afterwards. I hope this helped some.
