Ok so I was reading the warning label on Pepcid AC that you should not take if you have bloody or black stool and this worried me. I take Pepcid AC when I drink alcohol. For the past 6 months or so I have noticed I have occasionally get bloody stool. The amount of blood is noticable but doesnt seem to be excessive. As for black stool I am not sure if I have this. I am 23 and have no other conditions that I am aware of.

  • The bleeding can be caused by a number of things. Some diseases might not even give any other symptoms. In any case you should see a doctor and ask to have a colonscopy as well as bloodtests to check for any kind of inflammation. Kiera
