Appetite Issues

So lately i've noticed that my appetite has decreased. it's been in small amounts for several weeks, maybe months and i haven't kept track of it. i didn't think much of it until this week. that is i take a few bites of food, or a few sips of drink and i'm full. like to the brim with the urge to spit it up, vomit, etc.

i've also been sick this week (flu) of which i'm getting over. there's a lot of phlegm that i'm not spitting up so i just figured the desire to vomit was from that and the lack of appetite is the flu.. i'm really not sure.

has anyone ever been through this?
