Any ideas on what this could be?

My guy obtained a hernia this past November during work and ever since then he's been having the following symptoms daily:

bloody and "skin/fleshy" diarrhea, cramping, chills and sweat every bowel movement, pinching under the belly button, "side" pain on the left of his stomach, loss of appetite, flatulence, and energy loss.

The doctor said it wasn't related to his hernia and might be caused by stress, but didnt seem to pay any more attention to it other then that. He got some blood work done that will be coming up in two weeks but that seems a ways away and I'm not sure if it would show what could be wrong.

The only time it doesn't occur is when he is sleeping or laying down. Standing for long periods of time is now impossible. His blood pressure is very high due to him being stressed 24/7. His diet right now consists of water, tea, chocolate, protein, starches, and white carbs if he does eat. Going to the doctor is not possible for another two weeks.

Any ideas on what it could be? Also, any home remedies he can do (like diet changes/ over the counter med besides pepto) would be awesome! Thank you!!
