Abdominal pain + no appetite

I am a 26 year old female. I have been sick for three weeks now. I have completely lost my appetite. I have to force myself to eat because I always feel full. A few hours after I eat, I get stomach cramps and pain in my upper right abdomen (right under my rib cage). I get dizzy throughout the day and have no energy. I don't have a fever, but I do have a headache sometimes. No vomiting or diarrhea. If I drink water, it goes right through me, but if I eat anything, it takes a long time to digest. I've already lost ten pounds.
I have gotten CT scans on my pelvis and abdomen. Yesterday I had an abdominal ultrasound. I have also had a urine test to check my kidneys and blood tests to check my blood sugar and white cell count. So far, doctors have found nothing wrong with me. If anyone has any information that can help me, I would greatly appreciate it! Thank you.

  • Hi. Maybe you could have a gastroscopy done? That's all I could think off.. You've had so many tests done already. Hope they can find what's wrong so you can start getting better. Best of luck!:)

I am perusing the internet because my husband has just been diagnosised with Liver Failure....His symptoms included fatigue, lost appetite, confusion, lethargic, slurred speech, weight lose and finally fluid build up in the abdomin....his white bloood cell several years ago was decreasing with no explanation...so now we know....Cirrohsis of Liver, Hepatitis, etc.

  • Your symptoms sound very similar to mine. After numerous tests, I finally had a HIDA scan with CCK. It takes about two hours and assesses how well your gallbladder functions. It doesn't determine the presence or absence of gallstones; rather, it measures gallbladder contractions. My ejection fraction was below normal, and I had my gallbladder removed a couple of weeks ago.
