For the past 4 months I've been living with abdominal pain that comes and goes. When it starts up it is a burning, pinching sensation that starts under and just below my breast bone and travels under my left lower rib cage. Once it settles in it also causes my upper back, shoulders, and neck to pain. Lately I get sharp stubbing pain in my below that comes 2-4 hrs. after eating, almost unbearable, lots of belching as well. Could this be an ulcer????

  • If the pain you are having feels like it is wrapping itself around your back, it could be gallbladder problems. You should definitly see a doctor. You certainly have symptoms of something going on in your upper digestive tract. Kiera

  • Hi Do you have other symptoms other than you describe? What are your stools like? Shoulder and pack pain can also be associated with parasites. I don't want to scare you, we all have a parasites, they need to be kept in check. You may want to read more up on this. Have you ever considered doing a liver cleanse? (Parasite cleanse needs to be done prior to a liver cleanse). Perhaps a visit to your GP is in order to rule other stuff out. A lot of people don't realise but other co-factors could be involved to. Good luck.

  • Had an ultra sound of my gall bladder about 2 months ago and it didn't show anything, also numeroues bleed tests that showed nothing wrong with my liver, kidneys, or pancreas. Occasionally have stools that are very acidic in nature.

  • Perhaps you should purchase some PH sticks and have you PH levels checked. You may have an imbalance and can sort this out through your diet. I'm fighting serious parasite and other co-factor problems. I've been ill for 4 1/2 years, seriously ill. I made a post (rather long), when I first joined here. You may want to check it out. It's headed "4 1/2 years of suffering DISCOVERY....". I'm not saying you have a serious parasite problem, far from it. My condition is through no fault of my own but it's a serious situation. I've had many tests done, through my GP, I was even rushed to hospital with chest pains and had the full works. I'm quite young and shouldn't be suffering chest pain yet nothing was found through their tests. I've mentioned parasites to my GP on my very first visit yet I was looked at as if I was "delusional". I've had to take matters into my own hands and wanted to tell my story as I don't think people realise that many diseases out there can be caused or due to parasites. I hope you find answers. Good luck. 2 Have Hope.

  • I've got an endoscopy coming up on Dec 19, so hopefully this will shed some light on whats going on. Just got over round 5 of whatever this is, comes at random, noticed that it seems to last about 2 weeks before I'm pain free. I've also had the chest pain back when this first started, turned out that I was aspirating my stomach contents into my lungs, not a pleasent experience.

  • Hi there I hope you find answers when you have this procedure done. I've had BOTH endoscopy and colonoscopy and NOTHING major was found going on. The only thing they found was h-pylori bug yet my symptoms were way too bad to be just h-pylori. I explained my symptoms and the consultant was perplexed as the majority of them did not relate to the h-pylori bug. If they don't see anything visual when they do the endoscopy they may well take a biopsy. I'm not trying to put you off, quite the contrary, all I'm saying is they may find nothing. I hope you read my previous post "4 1/2 years of suffering... DISCOVERY" - I explain what I've been through in that post. I had every test going through GP and hopsital and they found nothing really. It wasn't until I found a really good lab (RHRPLUS.com) their tests are way beyond what other labs perform that I've chose in the past. I had lots of pictures taken of what was found in my samples (which for anyone would be hard to refute what is going on!!). I submitted stool, urine and sputum (the same I gave to my own GP who found nothing), yet RHRPLUS.com found a whole loads of stuff (nasty stuff too). It's been a long 4 1/2 years but I'm slowly getting there. A lot of people dismiss parasites because they don't want to think about them. Like me, I thought I just had a parasite infection, (I have more than one!), I also have co-factor stuff too which seem to go hand in hand with this type of infection. I have mold, bacteria and fungi all going on which all need to be addressed. I'm looking for someone to help me (who understands all this as I've seen many in the past who didn't know where to start). For the first time in 4 1/2yrs I see light at the end of the tunnel. I haven't had a life for this length of time. I hope they do find what's going on, it does make all the difference. It's when they can't find anything and one is going through ***l that is the worst. I know that feeling all too well. I hope it all goes well and let us know how you are doing. 2 Have Hope.

  • Had my endoscope today and nothing was found (no ulcer which is good, no cancer which is really good). I have a follow up appointment in Feb. So I think I will take your advice and ask about parasites, know someone were I work that also suffered from them for about 1yr.

So I think I will take your advice and ask about parasites, know someone were I work that also suffered from them for about 1yr. Hi David 05Glad you are willing to ask questions when you next visit. A lot of people receive blank looks from doctors when they mention the word parasite. Doctors are not well informed about parasites and don't believe they are a problem. They are a huge problem. I've been ill nearly 5 years now. Terrible list of symptoms. (Did you ever read my long post (I think it's headed 4 1/2 years suffering... DISCOVERY), you should check it out. It tells a long history of what I've been through. I've had endoscopy, colonoscopy and nothing was found apart from h-pylori bug. I knew the tests were not to be relied upon. Ok, they didn't see anything untoward going on but parasites (worms etc., they can hide and be in the tissue or even higher up into the intestinal tract, I think they only check the first 6 ft or so when having this procedure done, what about the other 21 ft?!! I also have an x-ray, and nothing showed up. Yet I found a fantastic lab, RHRPlus.com who I sent 3 lab tests. What they found was staggering. I have nematode infection (2 species) (I don't even have a dog!! But I do know where I've picked it up from, I've always had suspicions). Also, I have loads of other stuff going on, strange structures in urine and sputum, parasite related but unidentified. I also have some sort of helminth infection too. I had fabulous pictures taken and sent to me after RHR did the tests. I also got helpful notes to help me when trying to find someone to eradicate all what is going on. I also must mention that not many people consider other factors like co-factors which go with parasites, like mold, fungi, bacteria. These all need to be taken into consideration when tackling such a problem. So it is wise to find a good lab who can find what's really going on. I must make it clear, I do not work for RHRPlus, I'm merely a client. I have had the run around by my own doctors who wouldn't entertain the idea of parasites yet I have proved them wrong. They may even learn a thing or two from me!! But 5 years of ***l for me it had to end soon. And it was RHRPlus who got me my answers. Let me know how you are doing. Don't be fobbed off, ask many questions, educate yourself so you know how to tackle your doctor if you get the brush off. It could help get to the bottom of things. I'd bypass all that and head straight for RHRPlus but it is up to you and how badly all this is affecting your life. Best of luck. 2 Have Hope.
