As the result of a recent thorough study, I discover I've a swollen gall bladder. I've had the region prodded and probed I don't know how many time but have no pain sympoms nor do I have any of the other symptoms usually associated with gallstones. When I was shown where my gall bladder is, I'm aware that it has been swollen for some considerable time, years maybe. I've have a CAT scan various ultrasound checks and a gastroendoscopy. Earlier this week I was sent to one of Havana (where I live)'s leading specialist surgery hospitals where I was refused a CPRE (spanish intials) for various reasons including being an ex-obese,ex-smoker, and suffering with chronic hepatitis (type still undiagnosed) and was told that without further concrete evidence the specialist hospital is not prepared to undertake what it considers a fishing operation to look for gallstones or a tumour.
Is there any way to check what's inside my gall bladder without a procedure that includes a general amaesthetic (here) ?
