I have been having pain under the right side of my rib cage that radiats the the back if my shoulder blade, and sometimes i get bloated and have to let off gas. Or it feels like someone is squezing something under the right side of my rib cage. This has been goin on for five years and I have been through many tests. The only one that said anything was the Hida scan which told gi doctor that my gall bladder filled/drained slowly. Yet he said without stone there isnt much else he could do.
A year later with the same pain he sent me to get a ultra sound, still nothing. Then he said he could do a Hida CCK scan which the hospitals can do as of recently were i live. The results came in and said that nothing was wrong. I still have the same pains and I am getting very fustrated with the situation.
Is there anything I can do to prove to my gi doctor that I am having these pains and get him to take my gall bladder out, or make the pain easier to deal with. Is there any other test that can see if my gall bladder is diseased but not showing it through the test that I went through?
A few things that set my attacks off are milk over 1%, certian types of chocolate, fatty meats, peanuts and lettuce ( very hard to digest). With that said anything high in fat content set me off to have a painful attack.
