i had a scan a month ago and just recieved the results, i was told by my lovely doctor that i have multiple gall stones, oh and he also said it is because i am 40 and over weight.... well i am 35,, and i am slightly overweight, i have lost 5 and half stone in the past 2 years.. (some doctors are so rude)
he said that he will refer me to see someone to have an operation to take them away, does this mean the whole of my gall bladder? i asked about how long i would have to take off work and he told me 3 months., so obviously this is a big operation,,
the doctor also told me that they couldnt find my pancreas on the scan!!! any idea why?? where has it gone??
any information would be gratefully recieved as i am really worried about this..
thanks to anyone that replies...
