Okay, here is my story. I have been going to the emergency room for severe pain that feels like a heart attack. After demanding the last test for gall bladder, the doctors feel certain it is my gall bladder. Before I allow another surgery, did anyone else feel like they were having full blown heart attacks? The reason I have some doubt is I can have fat in my diet and not feel any pain, then other days I swear I am dying. So if anyone has similiar knowledge or experience please let me know. I do not want an unnecessary operation. I have recently started estrogen after a complete hysterectomy and am diabetic, and have recently lost twenty pounds and turned forty. I have had every heart test, so far so good. My test result on my gallbladder was 21 percent which I believe to be a bad result. Am I wrong? I have also had the lap down my throat, everything looked good.

  • this is to segway: yes a gallbladder attack can fell like a heart attack due to the acids that are forming in your tummy , because there may be a blockage or infection in your gallbladder or bio duct , so there fore the acids can get pushed up into your chest ,also there fore causing pain as if you are having a heart attack , when you have blockages or infections things tend to find other places to go , if you have any problems with passing gas from burping or the other lol witch we all do that haha the gases can travel through out your body there fore causing pain in other areas. please make sure you do get diagnosed properly and make the doctors listen to your symptoms and maybe try reading up on all of this as much as possible so you yourself can know more and explain it all to the doctors better thats what I did , hope this helps a bit ,believe me I know what it all feels like I have a post in here explaining what my symptoms were and the causes . take care and get better .:)

  • Thank you so much for your reply. As it has been awhile. I will update. I had my gallbladder removed. I still have the pain! My gallbladder was bad and was working at only 25 percent. However, I still have horrific pain and they are looking at MS with a pain called "banding" or the MS hug.

  • A gallbladder attack can sometimes feel like a heart attack. The pain is severe and can be scary. What are the key symptoms to know if you are having a gall bladder attack? If you are experiencing a gallbladder attack, you will likely first know this by the pain you are in. The pain is a steady, intense pain in the upper right abdomen area under the rib cage. The pain can radiate around the side to the upper right back area. Pain medicine will not help the pain to ease. The pain will likely be intense for a number of hours and then start to fade to a dull pain.

Or it may get worse when you eat. Gallbladder attacks happen most frequently at night after, after a fatty meal or after overeating. A gallbladder attack can be accompanied by excess gas, belching and severe indigestion. Often the pain is accompanied by nausea and vomiting. During a gallbladder attack, you may also suffer from indigestion, bloating, diarrhea or constipation. It is not unusual to experience a mild headache as one of the symptoms.

  • In the most advanced situations, gallbladder problems may be manifested in pain that emanates from. A high white blood cell count suggests inflammation, an abscess, gangrene, or a perforated gallbladderhttp://www.thegallbladdersymptoms.com/I was released just a few days after the surgery, we waited a couple weeks to not do the surgerym to see if it would resolve itself.Take care and visit your doctorJenifer

  • We mentioned above that your eating routines need to be changed. It is definitely good to possess a diet plan that contains complete cereals, soluble fiber, calcium supplements, many fruits, home grown vegetables and nuts but make sure not to ignore any daily meals. Foodstuff wealthy in bad cholesterol and fats need to be definitely avoided or limited in intake. Fats shouldn’t be omitted completely because it can affect the clearing of the gallbladder and if you keep in mind if the gall bladder doesn’t drain fully it may well trigger the development of gallbladder stones. It is possible to freely implement fats from olive or perhaps canola oils and likewise omega-3 fatty acids. Gallstones have an effect on girls a lot more than adult men. The main trigger with this can be the estrogen hormone so you may have to be careful whenever you strategy to use estrogen soon after the menopause or birth prevention pills. For that reason you've got to refer to your own doctor initial. And as you'll be able to see using this write-up the development of gall stones may be prevented in case you take care of your weight, be physically energetic and look after your diet.

  • In gallbladder attack, you couldn't breathe, you couldn't talk. It felt like a 1000 lb. man was sitting on your chest. At first it felt like gas pains. In just a couple of hours the pain was getting worse and no longer tolerable. It slowly become worse and did not go away.If you have had heart disease and the pain is not getting any better then it is advisable you go to the emergency room.
