I wonder if these symptoms sound familiar to anyone?
I have been getting pain under my right rib for around six weeks, on and off, but over the past two weeks or so it seems to have moved to my left side, all down my side, like a burning, tearing feeling.
I now have a pain in my right shoulder too.
I don't have any other symptoms really, apart from slight nausea but this is getting me down.
I have been referred for an ultra sound scan and blood tests, but it is driving me crazy not knowing.
Spicy foods/and/or alcohol may possibly make it worse but I can't be certain.
Please help!

I can tell you my experience. I felt like I had really bad heart burn all the time.. it hurt to stand , sit , lay... anything. Also, anything I ate went right threw me... I was going to the bathroom after eating anything, so I started losing weight. Everyones symptoms are different but thats how I felt.

Another test would be an H Pylori test which is a test for bacteria associated with ulcers or inflammation.
