when you are pregnant can having gallstones and pancreatitis affect your baby?

  • i had the same condition when pregnant... i also got cholestasis through the liver function problems... tell your midwife (if you havent already done so) about your condition ... i had LFT's every month until 3 months after giving birth (my LFT's came back high and i was induced at 35 weeks under close monitoring)... it can harm your baby and occaisionally be fatal so pls tell your GP/Midwife asap. if you get any itching in your pregnancy go to the accident and emergancy srtraight away as if you have these probs already you''l be high risk of cholestasis.
