Well am I truly relieved to read all these posts. I had keyhole surgery on both knees a week ago. I took 2 Co-Codamol containing 30mg of codeine. Within a few hours I had awful pain in liver area, similar to when I used to get gallbladder attacks. My gallbladder was removed 10 years ago.
So I stopped taking them. Then tonight, having bad pain in my knees decided to take 2 Co-Codamol so I would have a pain free night. I am in pain, in the right upper part of my liver, extending into right shoulder blade area. It is like my gallbladder is having attacks again but I don't have one ! So many of us experiencing these symptoms. The medical system need to be aware.
