I know there are many threads on here about people having pain after gallbladder surgery. I have experienced the same thing. I had my gallbladder removed about 1 year ago after a severe, hospitalizing attack. Lately, I have been getting severe upper right quadrant pain, similar to the gall bladder pain I experienced. A week ago, it was so bad that I vommited and almost passed out. I went to my GI, and she ordered blood work and an ultrasound...no news about the blood work, but the ultrasound came back negative. She suggested doubling my prevacid (which i have been on for 6 years now). I would prefer not to do this and find out exactly what is causing my pain. Could my syptoms be due to livere disease, or pancreatic problems? I have had abdominal problems my whole life (IBS, etc), and I also suffered from fairly severe anorexia and bulimia in high school and college. Another thing (I don't know if it's related) is that I have been having strange smelling urine lately--it could be an infection, but it has been going on for a while now. I am currently 23 y/o. Anyone have any similiar problems, suggestions?? Thanks.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
