My second toe has been like this for months, maybe a year or so. It's slightly swollen all through out, but you can really tell at the top of it. The color(a darker shade of red) is 'off' from the rest of my toes. It doesn't bend as freely as my other toe and right now it is aching.
When I was younger, I was very clumsily with my feet. I would consider myself very lucky if I went a full day without stumping a foot or toes on some thing(usually the rug, chair leg, or even at one point the rocks in our concert patio!).
Now, It's been two weeks since I last stumbled my toe(it use to be a few months- I was really thinking I had grown out of that painful stage in life- but I digress). I remember at one point, wrapping that toe in- tape, I think it was(I was 11, I think. XD) for a full day because it was painful to walk on, but it was better after that.
Oh, I'm not sure if this will help, but, I was stretching one day, and suddenly- that toe I'm talking about- started jumping around painfully, like trying to jump out of it's socket! It was like it had a mind of it's own. Since then, it has tried to pull that 'trick' again, but I stopped what I was doing once I felt it. Ow...
It has crossed my mind a few times that I wish I could just, maybe- cut it off, but that is repulsing and would probably effect my balance. Not to mention hurt. So... do I have any other options? i'm not trying to be funny-maybe a little bit- but not really.
Please help. Is there anything I can do?
