I am trying to find out some help online for my mom who for the past year has had problems with her right foot. Her foot swells up soo bad all the time sometimes it's so bad it doesn't even look like a foot anymore. She takes high blood pressure meds, but I am not sure the name. I have read up on gout and am kinda sure it's not that. Her joints don't hurt it's just bad swelling like if she took a gallon of water and poured it on the inside of her foot and extreme pain. She all so says that the area right under her arch is very sensitive and the top of her foot feels like it's burning. Most times sh can't even walk.

  • Hi it sounds like it could possibly be reflex sympathetic dystrophy RSD i would try looking it up and see if your mums condition matches this disease.
