My left big toe feels like there is a small lump under the middle of the toenail area on the bottom of the toe. It feels like you are stepping on a small pea or pebble. Part of the toe always feels numb. The bottom of the toe feels numb, it tingles, it itches, and is sometimes painful. I can't feel anything with my hands when I search for the lump nor can I see anything. It been like this for about a week and a half.
My general physician says that my glucose levels are normal and that x-rays do not reveal any fractures or abnormalities. I haven't been to see a podiatrist yet, I plan on seeing one in a few days.
