Large, Red, painful lump under foot (Pictures included) Please help!

I have a large,red, painful bump right under the arch of my left foot. I have had this lump under my foot for quite a few months, but only up until a few weeks ago I have noticed that it has become more red, inflammed and painful. I realize it could be a plantar fibroma, but I have not found any pictures of a fibroma that look as red or as irritated as mine. Can anybody help me identify this thing? Could it be a cyst or some kind of tumor? I know from the pictures it almost looks like a blister, but I assure you it is not. A couple of months ago it was just a solid lump with not as much redness. If i would drive heavily on the weekend, the next day it would swell up a little bit but then recede after the alcohol was out of my system. I'm really worried.
