I just learned that the pain I was feeling on my toes is caused by gout. I was advised to drink plenty of cherry juice since it’s known to help gout patients. Can you please recommend or share other gout medications to help for the pain?

  • Just to let you know Black Cherry juice is very good for preventing gout. However, once the gout strikes it will do little to stop the swelling and pain. Gout is caused by excessive uric acid in the blood turning into crystals resembling sharp shards of glass. They usually settle into the toes or lower joints and are extremely painful. My med to treat the gout is zyloprim and my attacks and growth of gouts was lessen after I was prescribed it. You can get it on any pharmacy in your area. Just ask your doctor about it.

  • I was diagnosed with gout 4 years ago and was on and off allopurinol to keep it under control. For the past 1.5 years, I've switch to a natural rememdy of Olive Leaf extract and it's worked very well.
