This happened to my 4 1/2 year-old son for the first time last night. We were up all night and he was inconsolable for the most part. I am not happy to read that many of your children on here have been experiencing this repeatedly and for months or years. I contemplated going to the ER in the middle of the night; he seemed to be in so much pain. Of couse, I'm sure being overtired didn't help matters.
I would hate to go to the doc, only to be dismissed as "growing pains". How can you be sure it's nothing more -- and how long can it last? Thanks!!
