Under my big toe on my right foot dead skin started developing one day and after about a month the nail pushed out almost half a centimeter at the top. The skin underneath was really hard and barely came out and I didn't find out what it was until going in to get it looked at. After having the nail removed twice, they finally told me it was dead skin and there was nothing I could do about it, and it would always 'grow back'
I don't even get how that makes any sense but now after about 3 years I still clean it out underneath the nail is discolored but it's basically back to normal. It just doesn't make any sense to me that this can still be a problem and I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem?
