I broke my 5th metatarsil in August of 2006. After several months in a boot and the wrong treatment I had my first surgery to put a screw in. The bone fell apart when trying to put the screw in so a plate and 4 screws were put in. Several more months in several casts... the second surgery was preformed to remove the hardware and bone fragments. I am still having pain and doctors think ( but probably not ????) that I might have early RSD. I am currently having PT but it really doesn't feel any different. I am unable to do my regular job so I am working for my parents... I sit on my butt all day. My question is has anybody ever had this happen and am I looking at long term disability? This is a work comp issue and I do not want to have my case closed and find out later that I need more treatment.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
