I've been experiencing a pain near the outside edge of my big toe at the edge of my toenail, that looks and feels like an ingrown toenail. But I'm not sure because I have been indoors for 6-7 months rarely wearing any shoes at all. And I have been having this problem for over a month, treating it as an ingrown toenail but it wont go away. It only hurts when I apply pressure to my big toe while standing, or the side of my toe. I was just wondering if this really is ingrown toenail, or something the Accutane might be effecting and if I should bring it up to my dermatologist on my next visit. (Just don't want to feel stupid asking a dermatologist about a foot problem)
I am taking 80mg of ISOTRETINOIN (Accutane) a day for acne. And in-between 1600-2400mg of ibuprofen a day. I have never had any problems with my toe including never having an ingrown toenail before even during high school wrestling and cross country.
