Injured my toenail

I injured my toenail,:( and it pulled up the nail at one corner. It bled, but stopped. Now there is a clear liquid coming from underneath the nail. Is this normal? I have put a anti-biotic salve on it and a dressing to keep it clean.
Thank you for any info on this,
