Finger Joint Pains

Hello, I posted this yesterday in another area, but then realized there is a section for fingers, so I decided to post here.

My problem is, I used to crack my fingers excessively. Finally, about 4 months ago I managed to quit, which I can't stress how proud I am of myself for doing so seeing as I've tried before, but failed. Anyways, now the problem is, I constantly get joint pains in my fingers. Usually when it starts getting annoying I rub some Myoflex or Rub A535 on them before I go to sleep and it works kinda. However, the pain eventually comes back.

What I was wondering, is if there is any way that I can fix this problem, because it really is starting to annoy me.

Thanks in advance!
