The doctor told me that I have a hairline fracture in my finger. I splinted like he said all day everyday for 4.5 weeks. At that point the orthapedist said to take the splint off. I got my xrays yesterday because I go to the orthapedist on Monday. The consultation note said that it is actually a chip fracture.

What might the orthapedist say about this and what might he do about it. I am curious and I just want to have an idea what he may say.
