Does anyone have any ideas why my pinky, middle and ring fingers (left hand) are stuck in a stiff bowed position (contracture). I have seen a rheumatologist, neurologist and orthodpedist with no diagnosis to date. I have limited mobility and function of left hand due to these fingers being more or less frozen. My dad has a history of trigger fingers. Also, I have mild arthritis in hand and moderate in spine. Any help greatly appreciated. I need a diagnosis so I can get treatment.

  • Have you looked into Dupatryns (sp/) contratctures. My DH has them. While there are not usually a problem until the patient is too old for it to be a problem, rarely it can strike in a younger man. My DH first had to have surgery when he was 19. He is 50 now and is about to have another surgery in the next couple of years. T
