The comments about Fibromyalgia seems like the medical community is confused.

Haven't they heard of the word "systemic"? Typically, doctors refuse to admit that they don't know what's going on. Try this. Next time the doctor tells you there's no such thing as Fibromyalgia and it's all in your head, tell him out loud, in front of everyone else, that he's FIRED. It's about our and our loved one's lives, not the doctor's arrogance.

Fibromyalgia sufferers are not children, nor are they ignorant of their conditions. Sure, some abuse the drugs to get high and stay high, but that's not all of them, and we HATE getting treated as if all we want is drugs to stay high.

Information: My wife has had Fibro for over 30 years. When diagnosed, she DID NOT have peripheral neuropathy, RHI, Interstitial Cystitis, nor chronic nasal infection. These all came after around 20 years after the initial diagnosis, with Interstitial Cystitis coming first. You would think doctors would get a clue and realize that Fibromyalgia is an immunization reduction disease, and opens the door to many other types of problems.

I am so weary of doctors treating my wife like some drug-seeking addict, embellishing her issues so she can try to be pain free completely. Depression is one of the effects of Fibro, and no wonder when doctors don't believe the patient and try their latest "get out and run" therapy on patients who are keeping from blowing their brains out (OH! They must be crazy!!) from the pain through medication.
