Has anyone that has been diagnosed with fibro ever got their disability? How long does it take? I`m 37 years old and was diagnosed when I was 30. In the last 2 years it has gotten where I can`t hardly move. I signed up for my disability about a month ago. I also have sciactica and arthritis. I just wonder what my chances are of getting it. I can no longer work. I had to quit my job in 2007.

  • Hi, sorry im in the UK.......i know people who get disability for that here. So i cant see why it would be different where u are. There is a site u can google & look at it "Disability Living Allowance" it will tell u also the way to answer certain questions.......it might be of some help to u even though im sure are benefit system is different. Its all to do with how u answer the questions that is important here ! I have seen it, just cant remember excatly which one ! hope this helps a bit ! Good luck :)
