I was misdiagnosed by two different rheumatologists who said I had Fibromyalgia. I was on Lyrica for two years! Finally my family doctor decided to check Vitamin D level, and it was extremely low, and my symptoms matched osteomalacia. I weaned off Lyrica, started taking Vitamin D supplements and symptoms are GONE, once my level was normal. Muscle, bone, joint pain, fatigue were my major symptoms.

My vitamin D level was checked recently and it is extremely low. I have had an injection of 300,00 units and I have been taking vitamin D3 tablets for the last 2 months but I have not ben feeling any better. Could you let me know how long did it take you to recover from vitamin D deficiency?

Some, like me, have tested for vitamin D and all is fine in terms of that. Finding out what acutally was wrong was a lucky thing for you.
