Just wanted to let others know that I had debilitating hip pain about a year ago for months that was first thought to be bursitis. I took NSAIDs for the hip pain and two rounds of steriod injections, but my pain persisted. The pain was so bad, I could hardly walk and was on bed rest for months. Finally, once I started an antidepressant, Zoloft, the pain dissipated. Now I am pain free and living normally. We believe the mysterious hip pain that started without any big apparent cause was the result of fibromyalgia, which was effectively treated via Zoloft.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
