I am 18 yrs old. I have always had regular periods, until 2 months ago. 5mos ago I had like a knot that was inside of my skin on the inside of my vagina area. I couldnt see It but I could feel It If i pressed on the sore area. I was so surprised, nervous, and scared that I didnt say anything to a dr, and I ignored It. It was very painful. It went away on its own and I had a normal period shortly after, though I was late. Since then I have only had two periods. I have bad abdominal pain on my right side. I dont know what could be wrong. I have never had sex before. I do want to have kids soon though. I went to the hospital and the doctor. Neither one gave me a answer. I need to know what the pain could be and know why my cycle hasnt came for 2 mons. Can someone help me plz?

I would recommend getting a vaginal and lower abdominal ultrasound to check for ovarian cysts, fibroids, tumors, or other issues like endometriosis. Please don't put this off. And don't worry so much - most likely it is something fairly simple that can be corrected. Also, consider trying acupuncure and Chinese herbal medicine to help regulate your periods. A gyno may recommend getting on birth control pills to regulate your periods, and IMO that can cause a host of other problems...Chinese herbal medicine can be more effective if you can find a practitioner who specializes in Women's health. www.acufinder.com for info. Best wishesDOM
