I had an IUD for over 10 years. Had it removed in Feb. I have had normal periods 28 days apart every month since. Yesterday my peak ovulation day we had a problem with the condom. My friends say that I will surley be pregnant since I had not trouble getting pregnant with my other kids. They say that you are more likley to get preg after the IUD removal. Is this true????

No, you are not MORE likely to get pregnant after an IUD is removed.. your body resumes cycles as usual, but since it has been ten years, your age might have something to do with how fertile you are. It is a lot harder to get prenant the older you get. But, there is always a chance of being/getting pregnant with unprotected sex. Just wait it out and see, in the meanwhile contemplate on what kind of bc you will need to prevent any oops..!
