I'm now 16 and got the implant in june and since then I got a period that lasted 3 weeks then it stopped for a week and then continued for another 7 weeks when I went to my doctor and he gave me tablets that worked like the pill which I was to take for 3 weeks then get my period which I did but since then I've been getting my periods a lot and lasting for weeks, Im on my period just now which is going onto the 3rd week now. I have an older sister who is 22 and she has always had irregular periods and has now been in a relationship for 5 years without using contraception and hasn't falling pregnant and is now getting herself checked out. Should I get checked out too? And does anyone know what the problem is?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
