Yeast Infections after sex everytime!

Hello everyone, my boyfriend and I have sex about twice a week, but that has started to get less frequent because almost every single time we have sex, I get a yeast infection. Right after sex, I have started cleaning up almost immediately, but I nearly will always get a yeast infection. I treat them with over the counter remedies, sometimes they work right away and sometimes they don't. It's really affecting our sex life as I just don't feel like going through this everytime. Symptoms that show up are a whitish discharge from my vagina and it itches so badly, it's maddening.

Does anyone have a suggestion on how to resolve this?

  • I used to have this problem until my bf used some of the cream that they have in the over the counter medications you can buy. Sometimes men can have yeast infections without the same symptoms as women, which causes women to be reinfected after sex. There is also a certain type of antispermicide on condoms which can cause yeast infections. I recommend switching the brand of condoms you use (if you do). Eat yogurt or take supplements with laciphillidus in them.My bf now washes before and after sex (as do I) which seems to have to stopped the problem.I know what a downer this can be, especially if they never seem to go away, and are continually reoccuring. Sex can really suffer. good luck.

  • You need to go to the doctor asap! I had my first yeast infection in January right before and during my period and treated it over the counter. After three more months of the same thing happening I went to the doctor who diagnosed me with bv. Don't have any more sex until you sort out your vagina. Because I continued to have (painful) sex during yeast infections or even after the treatment stopped I now have much bigger problems with my vagina like numbness and pain during intercourse. Please go to the doctor, if you don't have health insurance get it. Do whatever you have to do to take care of yourself because if you hurt yourself like I did you will regret it. Good luck to you.

  • You can go to your county STD clinic for free and they should be able to tell you what you have. Have them teach you how to properly put a condom on a male and never have sex without the man using one. The guy needs treatment, too; he is just giving it back to you, even if it is yeast he needs the pill for it...so you both need treatment at the same time. And still use a condom afterwards.

Hi,yeast is types of fungi in which the body of the fungus comprises individual cells that occur either singly, in pairs, or in longer chains.Yeasts can cause infections of the skin or mucous membranes..Vaginal yeast infections are a plague that attack millions of women every month, leaving us feeling helpless and afraid that we'll never find a real cure. The best course of action to avoid this:1 Cotton underwear should be worn2 Change sanitary towels and tampons at regular intervals3 Refrain from using vaginal sprays, deodorants or other type smellies4 Remove damp clingy clothing caused through sweating5 Avoid tight-fitting clothes; not only to help keep vaginal smells at bay but for comfort too6 Wearing synthetic materials next to the skin can cause irritation7 Cleanse well after using the loo. Use the front to back motion after bowel movement8 Hot sweaty conditions should have you wash more U can take a look for my site for detail info...hope can help u

Try to change your lifestyle, your diet...Are you lately eating foods with high sugar content? Better lessen.Yeast thrives and depends on sugar, and with result they will likely to get worse. Another thing, if you are currently using antibiotics, it may cause vaginal yeast. Use cotton underwear and try to avoid douching. Keep you genital area always dry. -Dorothy Hall Here is a link that might be useful: http://tinyurl.com/FungusYeast

  • Ok must correct something. Pv is a blood disorder that causes blood clotting. Ok next if you have a lot of sex that is painful, causes yeast infections yes you should see your Dr. And get checked both you and your partner for yeast and a thing called Hpv. This can cause vaginal wart and/or cancer. Now before you freak out. Just know that most cases of hpv do go away on there own. Its when the problem stays its an issue. Also both you and your partner should be check yearly. Even if you have been together for years or less.testing is a way to keep both your health in check. It takes some STDs between 1 to 10 years to show signs. Not wanting to scare anyone but Think about it...no ones 100% safe here. Just go ask you OBGYN. Dont have one. There are helpful resources. Just visit your local library. They have tones of listings. Really the best thing to do when you question your body is to talk to a Dr.a pro. Take care of your body, you only get one in this life. :)
