What sort of treatment can I use for vaginal soap irritation?

  • I had to discontinue use of soap and basically go to something that had no fragrance, or anything that was harsh, basically the less ingredients the better. I found that after i switched the irritation went away. I wouldn't douche, use powder or any creams. If it continues after you switch, you should probably go see your doctor.

  • I have heard that soap should not be used in the genital area at all. I have also heard the best to use is Dove for sensitive skin. Try this. for irritation, you might try a vaginal cream to take the itch away or maybe just vaseline will work.
