I have been having recurring BV episodes for about a year and a half now, and am just ready to be done with all this. I don't suffer from the odor, but have really bad swelling, burning and stinging. I have taken antibiotics for it three times and it goes away for a month or two, but always comes back, usually around my period or after sex. I am also taking birth control pills which I have read can be a contributor to BV. Two days ago I started getting another flare up and starting looking online for more answers, I found this new over the counter treatment that claims to restore your vaginal ph and flora, and says it will treat your BV. It's called VH essentials BV treatment. I went and got some yesterday and used the first insert last night, it is a five day treatment, so far I haven't noticed any change, actually I have more swelling, but I will let you all know if it ends up working for me. I read reviews of this product online and it seems for many women it has been a godsend and cleared them completely. I purchased it at wallgreens. Have any of you heard of this or used it before?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
