I had already posted about my fear of intrusive exams. i finally got up the nerve, and I have my annual appointment tomorrow. I haven't had a PAP in about 6 years, so maybe I am missing something- I noticed a nurse is going to perform my PAP. What the ***l is that all about? I wish I had noticed earlier because I want a doctor. I know it is too inconvenient to cancel now, but I want to cry. My anxiety is coming right back.
How is a nurse doing this? If I need any medicine can she give it to me or do I have to make a whole new appointment to discuss my problems and talk to the doctor. I don't want to wait another month because I have to mentally prepare again.
