Ok, I have a question? I am 17 years old and I haven't had my menstrual period in 5 months. I'm getting concerned. Yes, I know. See the Gynocologist, I haven't had a chance because my mom is sick as well. Do you think this is really bad? I also have a really long labia and it's strechy and gets twisted a lot and hurts when it gets twisted, it burns like you have soap in your urethra. (you know that feeling?). What should I do about that second thing??

  • You could have a stress disorder. One way to help it is birth control pills.I know from having that type of stress disorder myself. I was always missing my cycle for moths at a time. When I did finally get pregnant, I didn't have a cycle for around 5 or 6 months when I found out I was 1 to 2 months along.

  • You may have some sorta hormonal imbalance... stress may also play a role. I have something called PCOS which is polycystic ovary syndrome... I don't get periods normally... it's actually normal for me I guess. You may want to take a pregnancy test if you are sexually active just to rule that out. Otherwise, I would suggest going to doctor as you can. You can't take care of your mother if you don't take care of yourself! I also have a very large labia... I hate it. I generally use really gentle soap like Dove for sensitive skin which helps with any irritation. I also though it may seem a little unappealing but whenever I use the restroom I generally make sure my oversized labia is tucked back up into my genitalia. Then I was my hands really thorougly! I hope you find the answer to your issues!

  • I agree with the last poster. It is usually a hormonal problem. Do you have weight problems?
