Breastfeeding & Spotting

I've been breastfeeding for 14months and I've not had my period yet. Last Sunday, I started spotting heavily and the spotting eventually stopped on Tuesday. I still have not had my period yet after the spotting has stopped. I did a pregnancy test this morning and has comfirmed that I'm not pregnant again. Recently, I can also occasionally feel a strange lump on my right lower abdomen which moves around.

I've also been experiencing water retention, headaches and bloatedness recently, which made me thought I was pregnant or my period was coming. However, it seems like I'm having neither, I'm at a loss of what's happening. Plus, not having my period for the last 2 years make it even more difficult for me to tell.

Can anyone advise me if my spotting or the lump is any cause for worry? SHould I contact my gynae for a check up?
