Ok I am 25 years old and, I have been having a problem with this since I was a child. The odor is worst at the end of my period ant after, and after sexual intercorse. Also after I had my last baby 4 1/2 years ago via c-section, I have been having a problem with bladder leakage it isnt terrible but enough that I will notice it. Like when I wear a panti liner I have to change it atleast 4 times a day b/c it will smell like urine. I think that this could be a reason why the BV has gotten worse but unsure. And I have always had a problem with my temp down there, My fiance has told me it feel like a furnace, and we dont even cuddle let alone lay near each other at night b/c he says I make him hot. This is verry frustrating any suggestions would help please.

P.S. I also have not medical ins. right now sso that is not an option, also they havent helped me yet so looking for alternatives Thank You

  • hi gitlovely25... from what you described, the problem could be a ph issue. activities/events such as you described, menstrual cycle, sexual intercourse, etc...can cause a change in the ph level of your vagina...and this might be the reason for the itching and odor. you can try over the counter vaginal gels like rephresh, which will help maintain to balance the ph level in your vagina. however i don't know if your bladder leakage had anything to do with it. you can try using rephresh first and if it doesn't help with the itch and odor something else could be the problem...hope it helps
