I have had abnormal vaginal bleeding for several months. The doctor prescribed me birth control and told me that would solve the problem. That was about 5 months ago. It didn't help. I am on my period for about 3 weeks each month. I have brown discharge as well and I have a lot of pain on my right lower side at all times. I also don't have energy and don't have much of an appetite. Recently my vagina has been dry, burning and itching.
Can any body offer any advice? Thanks.

  • You could have uterine fibroids.Depending on how old you are it could be from hormone changes and dryness as a result of menopause. Stress, or injury, or infection. Could be an eptopic pregnancy. I would get a preg. test and if thats negative go to the doctor and tell him all your symptoms. Document when you bleed and what happens before that, there might be a regular cause.
