Hi...
I am new to this forum... but I really need all your medical advise...

Its regarding my right eyelid...

It has and still have a small swelling just in the middle of the eyelid line I think its under or just about near the eyelashes..

Its not so itchy... Its a little reddish... and very annoying and ugly

It was swollen three weeks ago quite considerably big like a pea size.. I went to the eye doctor and he gave me Amocyclin Tablets (antibiotic) and ibuprofen I took them for 4 days as advised and it reduced the swelling, I also applied hot compress...

But the swelling did not really go away but rather came back again after 5 days...

I was also told that probably my eye pockets is block or something to that sort... but why only in my right eye... with a specific location in the middle part of the eyelids...

dont know what to do... very worried...

I also have dryness in my eyes, thus, I use artificial tears especially that I am assigned here in Sudan, Khartoum and work in computers from 9am to 4pm...

Now, I am doing Hot compress and afterward I do cold compress to my eyelids...

Is this combination of cold and hot good to my eyes?
I dont want to create some other or further complications to my eye...

I plan to have my eye checked after two weeks during my R&R / leave... As I am not from this country I am not very confident of their eye specialist here thats why... they may seem good but I really would have it checked in my country... Thus, for now...

Is there any safe and simple and unmedicated way to solve my problem...
please ...

Is it a definite bulge, or ball, or pimple like thing or does it cover your whole eyelid in a swelled puffy fluid retention state? Is there any residue? You may have simply got something in your eye and it caused infection or allergy. OR you could have a stye/chalazion (which should go away by itself or if its bad may need minor surgery). I at the moment have been given a cream for my eye, and a inflammation tablet to take once a day. I am not sure what it is, but i think an insect may have got in my eye....it is quite closed up, looks as if it has fluid in it (one eye) on the lid, puffed alot so i have a slit for an eye it is sore to touch...there isn't really any specific sore point i don't think.
