About 2 months ago I went into the doctor because I kept getting lightheaded when I was driving. They told me that I had a sinus infection (even though I had no other symptoms) and that it was probably fluid build up and gave me antibiotics. I took the meds & started to feel better but about a week after, it came back along with the typical sinus issues. Well what also came was swelling all around my right eye, blurred vision and double vision. I went to the doc and they said that the blockage of the sinuses around my right eye was probably causing the vision issues and sent me to an ENT. The ENT put me on 3 weeks more of antibiotics and gave me the same run down about my eye. He also told me that I might have a back up of fluid in the eye which would cause issues, to wait & see how the meds work. It has been a week since I finished the meds and the sinuses issues are gone but my vision is still bad.
I have seen a regular doctor, ENT & ophthalmologist – all who have told me to wait it out.
My symptoms are: slight swelling around the right eye, vision is blurry, pain and numbness in the muscles around the eye, can’t focus on object in direct line of sight, sensitive to light.
If anyone can help give me some answers I would really appreciate it!
