Hi I am a teenager, for the past week I have had a drooping right eyelid, today I lost my vision in both eyes but more so in my right eye. I am wondering if I should go to the doctor. When I put my contacts in the vision loss gets a little better but not by much, can I wait to go to the doctor on Monday or should I go now? I also have had chronic headaches for about a year.

Call your regular GP/PCP doc and ask, if you call the office number, the emergency office exchange number to reach your doctor during non-business hours should be provided, if you don't know it already. Knowing of your headaches and medical history, your doctor will know better as to whether or not this warrants immediate attention or if it can wait until Monday. If you cannot reach your doc, or there is no exchange to call ... I'd go ahead and have it looked at, just in case.

  • I'm wondering if it's optic neuritis. I would get it checked out. Good luck!
