I've never blacked out before, and i've heard that it involves memory loss. I'm confused because I think I blacked out, but I can remember it all. The problem was my inability to see. Along with that I was extremely weak and sweating all over. I'm 18 years old and this happened at a concert.
Key factors: I hadn't eaten all day (I NEVER do this, I just never got hungry and I never realized that I hadn't eaten), I had been smoking marijuana, I had about a shot or less of alcohol, and I think what triggered it was letting my friend, a 100 lb girl, get on my shoulders to see better. A couple minutes after all of that, I started seeing stars. This happens often enough (like when you get light headed or you stand up too fast), but the stars took over all of my vision until it was completely black.
I did my best to tell my friend something was wrong, though I couldn't be certain I was even looking at her, and she helped me alot. We decided to leave the crowd and get fresh air. I remember practically every step and shuffle we made, even apologizing to people I blindly crashed into. I remember people getting mad and an argument even broke out. I remember my friend trying to grip me better because I was so slippery from sweat. Almost imediately as we stepped into a breezy area, my vision began to slowly clear the stars away. Then I forced myself to eat something, though I felt more like throwing up, and everything went back to normal.
I'm simply curious to know what might have happened. Thank you for listening.
